New England Strategic Alliance of Councils
The New England Strategic Alliance of Councils (NESAC) was formed in 2004 following discussions between Armidale Dumaresq Council, Guyra Shire Council, The New England Weeds Authority, Uralla Shire Council and Walcha Shire Council.
The New England Strategic Alliance is meeting the challenges of Local Government reform with a new IT-based efficiency and performance measurement system.
The Councils have established a Charter which sets out agreed arrangements for the management and delivery of shared services.
