Armidale residents are invited to celebrate 100 years of rugby league in Australia with the arrival of League of Legends, a travelling banner display from the National Museum of Australia in Canberra.
The League of Legends banner display offers a snapshot of rugby league history through text panels and images exploring some of the game’s greatest moments. The display is on show at the Armidale Folk Museum from June 23rd to July 11th.
The League of Legends banner display is a travelling component of the major exhibition League of Legends: 100 Years of Rugby League in Australia. The exhibition was developed and presented by the National Museum of Australia with the Centenary of Rugby League Committee for display in Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney, Townsville and Melbourne throughout 2008.
