The Aged & Disability Specialist Worker offers a referral service for older people and provides the Recreation Access Project. The main aim of the Recreation Access Project is to assist people with disabilities aged 16 to 65 years to participate in recreation and leisure activities of their choice. The Armidale Dementia Day Respite Program provides activities for people with an early diagnosis of dementia and their carers.
