Services for Adults
!
The borrowing collection provided for adults in the community of Armidale Dumaresq Council, aims to include the widest possible range of fiction and non fiction to provide for the interests and education of the community, following the Library's collection development policy - see attached document. Music compact discs,CDROMs, videos, DVDs, large print books, audio books and magazines are also provided for loan.
Languages other than English
Books in languages other than English are borrowed from the State Library of New South Wales on behalf of clients - see attached document for a full list. A small collection of French and German books are available for loan at the Library.
Inter Library Loans
Loans from other libraries are available for items which are not in the collection and the Library lends materials to other libraries for this purpose.

Libraries Australia is the national database of Australian library holdings, provided by the National Library of Australia. For more information, see the Libraries Australia page on our site. 75% of the Armidale Library's holdings are listed on this database.
Electronic Services
The library offers free Internet, Word Processing and database access. For more information on these services please see our Electronic Resources section.
ABS Collection
The reference collection of the Library includes a wide range of Australian Bureau of Statistics publications. This collection is also available online at the Australian Bureau of Statistics website.
LIAC Collection
A core collection of legal information is available and the Library has access to the services of the Legal Information Access Centre at the State Library of New South Wales.
Drug information @ your library
A core collection of drug information is available. The Library has access to the services of the Health Information Service at the State Library of New South Wales.
