Council operates under numerous pieces of State legislation supplemented by its own adopted Policies and Plans.
It our intention to use this area for both public comment on specific development proposals when required, and for the public to access planning documents such as Local Environment Plans, Development Control Plans, and application forms.
Armidale Dumaresq Council is committed to promoting development within the area by providing strong infrastructure, supportive planning regulations, and economic assistance where appropriate.
The recent formation of an Economic Development Committee with a strong focus on supporting both new business and the growth of existing business is intended to provide substance to this commitment.
