Get Framed Armidale is please to announce the solo exhibition 'From the Passenger Seat' by local Artist Sue Baker.

Please join us Thursday 6 March 5:30pm for the exhibition official opening night, entrance is on Dangar St, opposite Moore st.

This exhibition can be viewd from Tuesday 4-28 March 2025.

"On regular road trips, I’ve been captivated by particular places I’ve seen in all weather: bathed in sunlight or drenched in rain. In my work, abstraction is used as a portal into retrieving these moments of rugged beauty: undulating horizons, dappled light, tree groupings, boulders, cloudy skies and the wildness of the Australian bush. Drawing on these memories and the feelings they evoke, I experiment with different media, drawing and painting on the surface, exploring mark-making, textures and colour palettes. Through a series of layers, my paintings evolve, a fusion of representational landscape with the abstract."
