Crystalbrook Road

Pavement restoration works are required on Crystalbrook Road between the New England Highway and Llangothlin Road. It has been identified as a priority for pavement repair.

This work is planned to improve stormwater drainage and repair sealed pavement where required.

First stage will be the replacing the stormwater culvert and realigning the boundary fence. The pavement will then be shape corrected and repaired. This will involve a new seal over the area on completion.

The works will be undertaken under closed road conditions from the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm weekdays. The road will be reopened at 5:00pm each day for traffic use.

Access will be still maintained via Llangothlin Road.

Rockvale Road Reconstruction

Date: June 2024 - November 2024

The council has received a grant to fund the partial upgrade of Rockvale Road. The upgrade will include a 2.2km section of road, which will involve a new seal, new drainage, and widening of the road.

This project will not seal the entire current gravel road; however, the council is committed to completing the upgrade once additional funding becomes available.

The work has now started and is scheduled to be completed in November. Traffic control will be in place during construction, and the road will be fully open to traffic at night.

This reconstruction project is funded by a grant from Transport for NSW's Fixing Local Roads fund.
