Black Mountain Village

This is a quaint English style village, just a few minute's detour from the New England Highway south of Guyra. Exotic trees and well kept gardens frame neat old cottages while the wooden railway station and garden have been lovingly restored.

Guyra Railway Station

Guyra Railway Station was a busy place in the past, a water stop for steam trains and handling both passengers and goods destined for the district.

Today it is the headquarters of the Guyra Antique Machinery Club, and the neat railway station gives you a glimpse of the great days of rail transport on the tablelands.
