"Empowering local organisations with the resources they need through grants like these is essential for building a vibrant, engaged community,” said ARC Mayor Sam Coupland.
“Every project funded through our community grants program is a step towards a stronger Armidale. We encourage all eligible groups to apply and see how an ARC grant can help make your community project or community group flourish.”
ARC offers community grant rounds every year. Upcoming grant opportunities are promoted on the Grants and Sponsorship page on council’s website.
Successful community grants in the last round went towards projects including the New England Sings Choral Showcase, an Armidale movie day, NAIDOC Week disco and music camp, community gardens, and the Black Gully Festival.
