Citizenship Ceremonies

Armidale Regional Council hold Citizenship Ceremonies throughout the year

Creative Streets Festival returns in 2026, opening with a free street festival in the heart of Armidale on Saturday 17 October from 4pm to 9pm. Opening Night will bring live music, street theatre, art, cultural performances, food, family activities and community celebration into the CBD, before the festival continues across the Armidale Region through to Sunday 8 November 2026.

Guyra Christmas Carnival

Each year, Council proudly presents the Guyra Christmas Carnival in partnership with Rotary Guyra, a festive evening that brings the community together to celebrate the season with music, markets, and Christmas cheer!

The Big Chill Festival

The Big Chill Festival is back on the Saturday 16 May 2026. The annual celebration features live music, food, breweries, distilleries, wineries, boutique craft and fun!
