Sustainable Wardrobe is an interactive, hands-on workshop for ages 14 and up, designed to help participants rethink the way they dress, consume fashion, and express creativity through their existing wardrobe.
Running for 1.5 hours, the workshop will leave attendees feeling informed, inspired, and confident about making clothing choices that are kinder to both people and the planet.
About Dr Rachael Wallis: Following a career in arts management, Dr Rachael Wallis moved into research and teaching cultural studies at the University of Southern Queensland. Concerned about the impacts of fast fashion, she has contributed several articles to The Conversation, including “What to Wear for a Climate Crisis.” She the founder of local, start-up business Thread Shed Armidale.
