Armidale Regional Libraries delivered a full and diverse program of school holiday activities during January – and children from across the region enjoyed the opportunity for fun and learning!

Activities in Armidale and Guyra included Lego and craft, music and film workshops, virtual reality and robotics, competitions and games.

UNE Discovery conducted the science-based workshops 'Palaeontology Puzzles – Fossils and Bones', 'Creative Chemistry', 'Crime Scene Investigation', 'Escape from the Museum', and 'Science of Art'.

Children also had the chance to meet live Australian reptiles, including pythons, crocodiles, frogs, turtles, and lizards at the ‘Reptiles on the go – zoo visit’!

Libraries are more than a place for books, and Armidale Regional Libraries offer a great program of events and activities all year round.
