The Gift of Music for 25 May Market Sunday Concert
The Music on a Market Sunday concert on 25 May at 12:30pm in the Armidale Uniting Church features music for flute and piano performed by Sharon Davidge and Jenny Worrell.
Some composers feel their music has been given to them by God; some take their inspiration from nature; some take their inspiration from qualities they wish to display in the instruments for which they are writing; some provide a springboard from which the performers can explore.
All these gifts will be presented by Sharon Davidge and Jenny Worrell in a programme of lyrical works for solo flute, and for flute, piccolo and alto flute with piano. Sharon is a well-known solo, chamber and orchestral player in Armidale and Grafton, and Jenny is a stalwart of the musical community in Grafton, through education, performance and musical direction.

Admission to the concert is free (though donations are encouraged). Tea and sausages will be available at the Uniting Church before the concert.
