NECOM and Musica Viva Armidale welcome the Acacia Quartet for a special Sunday matinee performance.
The program features two beloved string masterpieces: Tchaikovsky’s String Quartet No. 1, weaving Ukrainian folk melodies with sweeping Romantic themes, and Borodin’s String Quartet No. 2, filled with rich drama and unforgettable lyricism. Adding a contemporary twist, the concert also includes Entering the Palaces, an evocative new work by Australian composer Lyle Chan.
