Ikebana Mini Master Class 2

In this Ikebana Mini Master Class you will get an introductory taste of Ikebana with Mishel Newall. $70pp - Sunday 19th 11am-1pm

Mishel studied ikebana in Japan and is a certified level 2 Ikebana teacher - Sogetsu School. Her exhibition 'Phoenix' - Sogetsu Ikebana, will be on display at Get Framed and The Gallery, Thursday 16 - Saturday 18 October.

"Ikebana is the ancient Japanese art of flower arrangement. Like any art, it allows you to express yourself, here using flowers and other materials.

This exhibition, 'Phoenix', is dedicated to Ukraine, and to what Ukraine is suffering with this war. It expresses my belief that Ukraine will rise, like the phoenix, from the ashes. With it I express my pain about Ukraine, but also my faith in Ukraine".
