New England Garden Festival

This major community event in Armidale celebrates the joys and benefits of gardening.

Armidale racecourse transforms into a gardening hub with vendors, art, workshops, demonstrations, and live entertainment. Proceeds support Can Assist in four towns (Armidale, Glen Innes, Guyra and Uralla), aiding locals in their fight against cancer.

And wrapping around the NEGF is the New England Garden Trail. Over 7 days, 6 country towns will each open 3 gardens from 9.30am – 2pm in Walcha, Uralla, Armidale, Guyra, Glen Innes and Tenterfield. A total of over 18 private, cool climate gardens and all money raised in each town, stays in that town to support their local community.

These events aim to bring visitors to our region, support Can Assist through our fundraising and allow residents of the New England to showcase their beautiful gardens.
