Orienteering at Oakview

Orienteering this coming Sunday, 20 Sept 2026 is at Oakview on the serene Rocky River.
All beginners welcome. Bring sturdy shoes and a drink & snack.
Oakview Map, 1:7'500, from 2019 with minor updates.
4 Courses are offered:
- Hard 1, 5.5km, 17 controls
- Hard 2, 3.0km, 10 controls
- Moderate, 3.0km, 8 controls
- Easy, 1.8km, 9 controls
Start any time between 10am and 12 pm. Course closure is 2pm (return to assembly area).
Event fees are $8 members, $12 non-members, discounts for juniors and groups.
Toilets and shelter are available at the assembly area.
Location is about 20km West of Armidale, 600m unsealed private road from main road to the assembly area. Allow 20 minutes to drive there.
