UNE Discovery is excited to present “The Amazing Science Race,” inspired by the hit reality TV show The Amazing Race. The twist? There’s no need to travel the globe — all the action will take place right here in Armidale, NSW!
Join us for a fun-filled morning of adventure, problem-solving and team building. Bring your thinking cap, plenty of energy, and a great sense of fun to complete a series of science-based challenges.
Teams of four will tackle six exciting science challenges. After completing each challenge, teams will receive their next location clue before racing on to the next location. The first team to finish all challenges wins! Some tasks will really test your skills, while others might seem easy — you’ll be the judge.
This event is FREE, but all participants must register individually. To compete, you must be part of a team of four. Each team must nominate a captain who will act as the team spokesperson. Age requirements apply.
